Small changes can make big differences
You've probably heard of this one.
But only use half the amount of stuff you use. Soap powder, Fabric conditioner, washing up liquid or dish washer tablets which can also be cut in half. Even cleaning products.
Companies will tell you to use that much so you obviously use more and have to buy more, we are made to believe that seeing soapy water in you washing machine is a good thing...You don't have to see soap to know it is working and cleaning our clothes just as good.
Fabric conditioner is the same, in fact ditch the stuff you don't need it white vinegar works just as good and worry not your clothes wont smell like the local chip shop just you standard white vinegar just stick a cap full or two in the fabric cond drawer. If you want the smell that comes from it, try using essential oils, camomile and lavender are my favourites, orange smells good too. But I guess it will depend on what smells you like.
Although I don't have a dish washer I hear a lot of people rave over using just half a dish washer tablet. Its worth the try.
Same with washing up liquid just don't use as much.
Adding soda crystals to the soap powder drawer will make the soap powder go futher still as soda crystals make the water softer it will make the soap "soapier" Add a few tablespoons to the wash.
All I can say with all this said is give it a few goes see how you get along with it. Its worth a try at least?
Spends today was for more clothes but that is me sorted out for a long while I also bought my daughter some nightmare before christmas hair bobbles and I got some card crafting things. I am making a card for my Husband's friend wife has just had their first baby. Oh and food shopping yesterday.
