I have been looking around the house to see where I can save some money, when I realised how many toiletries I have laying around.
I counted 8 tooth brushes, 6 body washes, 4 shampoos, 3 hair conditioners and at least 4 bars of soap before I gave up counting and admitted to myself I have far too much and need to get all these used up before I should and buy more. Although with 5 of us in our home some of these wont take long to get used up.
So this is what I am going to do, gather all the body sprays shampoo even loo rolls and use all these up before I buy any more.
I have so many body lotions I have read you can use it so shave your legs,
Add a small amount in to a hand wash so you have a creamy hand wash,
I have also read mixing it with salt to make a cheap body scrub although am not sure this would be very money saving? (warning though this could make the bath slippery- You have been warned)
I have a few perfumed ones which I can use instead of perfume
You could always gift some, or give them to a charity shop as long as they're un-open I am not sure they would accept used lotions?
You could also leave a bottle in the ladies bathroom
If you've had them a long time and smell off sort of like plastic then they're gone best to bin them
With my perfumes I will be using all these up before buying any more,
