Quick post.

The weather has been lovely today I have managed to get 3 loads pegged out on the line hopefully they'll be as good as dry if not dry. I also made a batch of soap powder - I have a box of soap powder but am going to use up and make do with everything under my sink till I have to buy more.

Am sure I have posted the recipe of the soap powder before but this is what I do;
2 bars of household soap (can be cheap bath soap too)
bag of soda crystals
small box of bi carb
around 10 drops of essential oil such as lavender or what you like the smell off.. I miss this out

Grate the soap up until its fine add the bi carb and soda crystals and mix well add the oils mix well to avoid clumping.

Keep something such as laundry bleach or oxy clean for the whites and a stain remover as a back up
Add about half a cup to the wash.

**note if you wish to make this do so at your own risk, this soap powder works for me and our washing machine**

We had another roast lamb dinner today as we had so much lamb left over and some mash potatoes, cabbage, and gravy.
